Anastasiia Sapon was born in Kiev, Ukraine. She is a photographer and does creative portraits, head shots, weddings, travel photography. As the daughter of military officer she moved a lot, so all places of their staying Anastasiia can call a home. Such not rooted in one location childhood have caused her attraction to traveling, meeting new people and explore new places. Sapon remembers her magic feeling and mystery of photo when her father made prints in a homemade darkroom in bathroom. Then she, little girl, could not image it would be her admire and destiny.
Anastasiia Sapon received 1st BFA in Management in tourism, hotels and restaurant business from Kiev University of Tourism, Economics and Law 2007. Her 2nd BFA is in Photography from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California 2012.
In an effort to extend portfolio, Sapon made 30 days long trip to Alaska, and expressed her journey in stunning series ''Beauty of Alaska''. Wide open spaces, playful wildlife, crisp air and cool water reach out from images. Pure virgin natural allures and inspires.
Sapon plans to continue capturing the richness of the world. Next up, she will travel continental United States. ''As an international person, I still see so much that is unusual in this country. I want to make a portrait of America, as I see it" - Sapon says.
